Here she is, my new touring bike. A Surly LHT powdered coated coffee tan and built with some choice components (XTR, XT, Velocity Aeroheat, Tektro, Brooks, dynamo hub, Tubus rear rack, Nitto front rack, Ostrich bags, etc.,). As pretty as it is, it's also a stout touring bike. I just took it on a three day tour and she performed wonderfully!! More pictures to come.
(EDIT: Quick map of the route I took.)

Sweet! I just recently got a LHT myself. I got the factory Utility Blue color, although I've removed the decals and I think it looks a lot better. I like the paint job on yours, though, and it looks like you've got an awesome build.
Seems like the LHT is the bike of choice.... looks great. Enjoy the ride. Can't wait to hear about some of your adventures.
Thanks...the LHT makes a great canvas on which to build a bike...My build is a poor man's Rivendell Atlantis (or a rich man's Surly LHT)...depends on how you look at it.
In any event, it's a stout tourer and I plan to use it on fire roads and trails (nice that my size has 26 inch wheels).
I like the bike, Russ. What kind of fenders and wheels are those?
