A room with a view....

Photographed Bob Foster, the mayor of Long Beach in his office for an article on his 2 years in office. The room has a great view from the 14th floor. I was planning to shoot with a view of the Queen Mary but I couldn't get the reflection out of the window and there was nothing to lean him against to create that nice warm halo. You do what you can, so I decided to lose the background and just set up something simple that focused on him.



And another one. No strobes, just available light. I think it looks nicer in BW. It has that historical portrait feel to it.
